The first Razzoo’s opened in 1991
In Dallas, Texas where there was a lack of appreciation and knowledge around Louisiana cookin’. Our deep love and respect of Cajun culture is what drove our desire to share bold bayou flavors that feed the soul. In true Cajun spirit, we made the most out of what we had and that was all we needed. A rundown building, some good-hearted people, and a dream.
Razzoo’s was always meant to be something different. We leaned into being gaudy, edgy, and unapologetically Cajun. We never take ourselves too seriously, but we always take our word to heart. We created a bright, unique experience that was unmistakably our own. The original, iconic Razzoo’s look and irreverent personality was created from the mind of a brilliant artist, George Toomer, who continues to inspire us today.
Everyone is welcome at Razzoo’s
Razzoo’s history lives on and continues to grow over the years. No matter how much time has passed, one thing’s never changed. Our passion to share Cajun tradition and cookin’ while passing a good time. If change is the only constant, one thing’s for sure. We’ll never lose our spirited soul and will always stay true to our Louisiana roots.
Everyone is welcome at Razzoo’s and we make sure our guests know how much we appreciate them coming to see us. Our promise is that folks will always leave with a smile and a stomach full of good food. It’s the Cajun way. Just like our Mama taught us.

Razzoo’s was built on the flavors, energy, and hospitality that define Louisiana cooking. From bold Cajun classics to time-tested recipes, everything that comes out of our kitchen is rooted in tradition and made to be enjoyed together. The food is hearty, the atmosphere is lively, and the experience always feels like a celebration of where it all began.
When you walk through our doors, you are treated like family. Whether it is your first visit or your hundredth, our goal is simple. Serve great Cajun food, create an easygoing place to unwind, and make sure you leave satisfied. Good food, good times, and a welcoming table are what Razzoo’s is all about.
It’s the Cajun way.
Just like our mama taught us.
