Don’t Miss National Bubba Day at Razzoo’s Cajun Café!

Whether your name is Bubba, your friends’ nicknamed you Bubba, or you just know someone named Bubba, National Bubba Day is for you!

What the Heck is National Bubba Day?

Yeah…we’ll be the first to admit it. National Bubba Day sounds a lot like one of those made up holidays that someone, somewhere thought was worthy of putting on the calendar, kind of like National Wiggle Your Toes Day, National Frog Jumping Day, or National Lumpy Rug Day. (Yes, those are all real holidays, people.)

At Razzoo’s, we’re always looking for an excuse to party, so on June 2nd we’ll be observing National Bubba Day and celebrating all the “bubbas” out there that you love and hold close to your heart!

Mark your calendars for June 2 at Razzoo’s!

Come celebrate National Bubba Day with Razzoo’s Cajun Café on June 2! Experience the best Cajun food in Texas, craft beer and drink specials, and if you’re lucky, there might even be some live music. Razzoo’s has you covered with all your southern favorites.

Happy National Bubba Day!

Thank you for 25 Amazing Years at Razzoo's Cajun Cafe!

We’re tootin’ our own horn because on June 1 Razzoo’s Cajun Café will celebrate its 25th Birthday! It’s been a wild ride since we opened our first location at Spring Valley and Highway 75 in Dallas, Texas. Since then, we’ve been blessed to open 19 locations in 2 states, with even more locations on the way!

None of our success would be possible without you – or loyal patrons, employees, and friends – who have supported us and helped us grow over the years.

To our guests:

We know you have options galore when it comes to eating out, and we thank you from the bottom our hearts for choosing Razzoo’s for Cajun food in Texas and North Carolina. To the millions of guests who have walked through our doors and ordered Rat Toes, slurped down a fish bowl full of Gator Punch, invited your friends to Razzoo’s Happy Hour, and gave Cajun food a try for the first time…thank you! To the guests who know our menu backwards and forwards and would consider themselves a “Real Razzoo”…..thank you! Thank you for embracing the Razzoo’s experience for 25 glorious years!

To our team:

You guys rock. There’s just no other way to put it. You bought into the Razzoo’s culture, embraced it wholeheartedly, and created a unique dining experience for our guests. We said “Dream Big!” and you did – day in and day out. Your tireless efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making big dreams come true.

Craft Brew Spotlight: Oak Highlands Brewery

Over the last few years, Texans have made brewing craft beer an art, with amazing craft breweries popping up all over the Lone Star State. At Razzoo’s, we make it our business to try all of these new brews and offer some of our favorites in our restaurants. (Rough life I tell ya.)

Oak Highlands Brewery

Oak Highlands Brewery may be one of the newer craft breweries in Texas, but they’ve got this beermaking thing down. Opened in July of 2015 by a couple of Lake Highlands residents, Oak Highlands has quickly grown its team and its business. The brewery resides in a 16,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, with ample space for brewing the best beer and tasting it too. If you’re going to be in the Dallas area, head over to Oak Highlands and check out their family-friendly taproom, perfect for guided tastings or trying a few new beers on tap. With plenty of games and big screen TVs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Oak Highlands.

Beer Above All

“Beer above all” is the slogan used by Oak Highlands, it just shows how much they value the end product. Everyone has a favorite type of beer, and Oak Highlands has something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorites:

·      DFDub: We love DFDub because it’s a smooth, medium bodied wheat beer with accents of banana and cloves. We know, sounds super weird, but just take our word for it.

·      Freaky Deaky: The award-winning Freaky Deaky is as fun as its name, using American hops to create a potent Belgian Tripel-style ale.

·      Derelict IPA: Consider yourself a hop head? Get down with the Derelict IPA, a bitter, American-style IPA brewed with 5 different hops for maximum punch.
