Syracuse Sausage has been around since the early 1980s when Joe Mussacchio arrived in Texas and realized he couldn’t find any good sausage anywhere. Given his resourceful Italian roots and background in making sausage at his family’s sausage business back in New York, he figured good sausage was in his blood and he gave it a shot. Syracuse Sausage was born, and is still family owned and operated by the Mussacchio family to this day.
