As a born and bred Texas company, Razzoo’s loves to support our local Texas breweries. These talented folks are creating amazing craft beers, many of which are only available right here in the great state of Texas. While each Razzoo’s location sports a different line-up, they all showcase local craft beers and breweries on tap.
One of our favorite Texas craft breweries is The Collective Brewing Project. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, The Collective Brewing Project was founded by two guys who just loved to drink beer. (Something I’m sure we can all relate to, right?!) It’s hard to believe that this brewery has only been in existence a little over a year, as it’s made its mark on North Texas and beyond.
The Collective Brewing Project first set up shop in 2014, converting an old, abandoned building on the south-side of Fort Worth. The goal was to build the company slowly, focusing on the beer. Ryan Deyo and Mike Goldfuss – cofounders of the brewery – didn’t want to brew just any beer; they wanted beer that had a distinctive flavor. A flavor as funky as “funkytown” Fort Worth. The result: Collective Brewing Project is known for beers that are sour, edgy, tart – anything but mainstream.
The news of Collective Brewing and their “funky” beers spread, and within its first year and a half, the company has gone from providing draft beer to 3 local Fort Worth establishments, to servicing over 50 accounts across North Texas. Not to mention, they’ve added their own taproom where you can enjoy all your favorites, right there in the brewery.
Razzoo’s Cajun Café is proud to partner with The Collective Brewing Project and serve their tasty brews in our North Texas locations. A few of our favorites? Come on in to a Razzoo’s near you to try Belwegian, Mustache Rye’d, Mr. Green, and more.
